Sphagnum palustre

We took some SEM images on Sphagnum magellanicum. This is an image showing the ventral side of a branch leaf.

This website is dedicated to scanning electron microscopy images involving Sphagnum moss.

These images were taken using a Hitachi S-2600N Variable Scanning Electron Pressure Microscope at the UBC BioImaging Facility. Moss samples were collected at Camosun Bog.
